“My stubborn husband waited until almost closing time to give in and go in to the clinic. He was having severe abdominal pain and was in pretty bad shape. The entire staff welcomed us in and never hesitated when they had to stay an hour past closing time to get him taken care of. Dr. Myers took time and asked lots of questions, She took x-rays and they showed a blockage and she sent him immediately to the ER. She called ahead and had them waiting for us. We didn’t have to wait and they knew exactly what was going on. Later that night he had surgery and is now recovering and I’m sure will be fine in a few days. I honestly never expected #1 that surgery was going to be happening but also that that a walk in clinic would set everything in motion. Thank you so much Dr. Myers and staff for everything you did for us.” Lisa G.

“I came in due to a fall at work which required stitches above my eye and an x-ray of my hand. The staff did a wonderful job cleaning and sewing up my wounds. After the x-rays, they told me my finger was broken and wrapped it up for me. They told me to see an orthopedic surgeon the next day. While there I mentioned that I fell going out to the car to get a diet Mountain Dew but never made it. In a few minutes, they walked in with an ice cold diet Mountain Dew. The next day, they called my work to encourage them to get me in to see the surgeon and they called and checked on me. They did an amazing job. I am grateful.” Beth S.

When we got to the room, the Disney Channel was on. I couldn’t help but think it probably wasn’t a coincidence, which I felt was nice. Even if it was a coincidence I was happy there was something kid-friendly on. The doctor was thorough and kind which is always nice when it’s a nervous child. “My first time going to a walk in clinic. It was the weekend and the little one’s PCP was closed. I always had the idea that these types of places were dirty and not well kept. I was given a new outlook–AFC facility was clean from the front desk, the restroom, the waiting room, to the exam room. We were in and out in about an hour with a diagnosis and prescription already filled at our pharmacy.
