What Is Walking Pneumonia?Walking pneumonia is a bacterial infection that affects your upper and lower respiratory tract. The medical condition can last between two to three weeks; however, because it might take a week or two to be diagnosed, it could feel as though you have been suffering from walking pneumonia forever.

What Is Regular Pneumonia?While walking pneumonia might not bring you down to the point you need to stay home, regular pneumonia will most likely have you on bed rest. Although walking pneumonia is a bacterial infection, regular pneumonia can be caused by a virus, bacteria or even fungi.
